Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. Lennox lived on an allowance for students and went in part-time jobs to increase her income. Lennox made the decision to alter her profession following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience and lack of talent comparison with the other Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band before they appeared as a guest on I.T.V's talents program New Faces. She sang lead in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart and together they created the duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her debut solo album Diva, which was released by 1992. It was a huge success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was launched in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top blues soul tracks from her the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. Her first album, Now I'm Letting You go... is an accompaniment to her installation of artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish politician, philanthropist and singer-songwriter. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to become famous internationally in the 1980s with the Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career by releasing her debut album Diva in the year 1992. This was the source of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album, features cover versions of popular songs like No MoreILove Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo albums include six studio and compilation albums. |
